Founded in 1865, Wroclaw Zoo defines the Polish zoo category by pairing the country’s oldest zoo with the 2014 Afrykarium complex. It is also described as one of the largest zoos in Poland by number of species. Visitors can combine African aquatic habitats with big cat, primate, reptile, and bird exhibits in one ticketed visit.
